Dr. (CPA) (FA) Abdi Adan Roba is a seasoned internal audit, corporate finance, risk management, quality assurance and operational efficiency, banking, financial management and organizational development professional with flair over and vast experience attained over the years in the banking and energy sectors in Kenya. He has attended numerous leadership and management training and also addressed senior executives of public and private organizations on thematic areas of finance, internal audit, banking, risk management, sustainability and organizational management.  He is a resource person and facilitator for the executive and management development trainings offered by the Kenya School of Monetary Studies. He has taught as adjunct lecturer at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies and Umma University. Dr. (CPA) (FA) Roba takes pride in having undertaken consultancy assignments both in Kenya and within the region that has enabled organizations turnaround their finances, corporate strategies, product offering and organizational management. He currently serves on the board of Global Alliance for a Healthy Society (GAHSO); a local NGO.

Dr. (CPA) (FA) Abdi Adan Roba holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science & Technology (JKUAT), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Nairobi and a First-Class Honours Degree in Finance from Maseno University. In addition, he holds an Executive Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance from the AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics in Pakistan. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA), a Certified Investments and Financial Analyst (CIFA) and a Certified Pension Trustee by the College of Insurance, Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) and Humber Centre for Employee Benefits (Toronto, Canada). He is a full member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certified Investments and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA- Kenya).  Outside his flair in financial and organizational management, Dr. (CPA) (FA) Abdi Adan Roba loves mentorship of young upcoming professionals and writes on topical issues covering Kenya and the region in national newspapers like Business Daily, Africa. He has written many articles and published in referred journals.

Peter Gregory

Mr. Gregory is a highly experienced financial management professional with over 5 years of experience in Grant’s administration of more than (5) Donor funds. Mr. Odhiambo’s strong program management includes launch through closeout, human resource management, financial planning, cooperative agreement compliance, Sub –award management, and reporting. and reporting. Having worked with multiple donors, including USAID, Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Catholic Relief Services, Uhai Eashri, and the African Women Development Fund (AWFD), he brings specific skills in accountability and management of large donor-funded projects.

Mr. Gregory has a proven ability to design and maintain accounting systems, prepare periodic financial reports, and supervise the work of the staff accountants. Proficient in assessing risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual and automated financial processes; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues. Possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues on financial issues.

He holds a degree in Business Administration with IT (Finance Option) from Maseno University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) from The University of Nairobi.

He’s currently working as Finance and Operation Officer at Edrak Associates Limited, he has worked as a Finance Officer with Kenya Widows and Orphans Support Programme (KWOSP) and Nyanza Reproductive Health Society (NRHS). He has also worked with Intrahealth International and Marie Stopes Kenya

Dr. Priscilla Nyanchama Ombongi holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Industrial Economics obtained from Wuhan University of Technology, People’s Republic of China. She also Holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration with Information Technology from Maseno University. Having worked both in private and public institutions, Dr. Ombongi has diverse experience of more than ten years which has enabled her proficiency on matters financial management, economics, administration, strategic communication, research and development. Dr. Ombongi’s current interests and research areas include Industrial & financial development, Innovation &Technology, SDGs and other trending issues of national, regional and international nature.
